Maria Poniros is a Partner of Brown Wright Stein Lawyers, with more than 18 years' experience advising across a broad range of legal areas, including property, corporate and commercial advisory, estate planning and succession planning (including trusts, businesses and SMSFs). Her wide-ranging experience ensures that the advice she provides goes beyond the legal complexities of her client's concerns, and takes a holistic approach to help her clients achieve their goals.
Maria’s particular areas of expertise include:
property acquisitions and disposals including residential, commercial, retail and industrial properties;
retail and commercial leasing for both landlords and tenants;
drafting and advising on put and call options, partitioning agreements, co-owner agreements and joint venture agreements;
estate, succession and wealth planning;
probate and estate administration, contested estates and family provision claims;
providing advice to self-managed superannuation funds, including in relation to limited recourse borrowing arrangements; and
providing commercial advice to clients about their business and personal affairs.
Maria acts for a broad range of individual clients (including high net-worth individuals), small to medium businesses, property developers and professional advisors.
